Awarded Golf Post Community Award 2022

For the fourth year now, Golf Post, the digital home of all golfers, is presenting the Community Award, the only award in the golf scene that is not awarded by a jury but by passionate golfers. That’s what makes the price so special! Because we were not nominated by a jury, but rather chosen by several thousand golfers who are passionate and enjoy roaming the fairways and greens.

From all golf courses in German-speaking countries, 76 golf courses were awarded the recommendation of the most active golf community for the year that has just begun. In the heated final phase of the voting alone, 7,000 recommendations and ratings were made. This creates a representative picture of the golf clubs that golfers consider particularly worth playing. And we are there!

Of course, special thanks go to everyone who voted for us and put us on the list of the most recommended golf clubs in Germany. We wish you a good game at all times and look forward to seeing you.

Princely golf resort Bad Waldsee honored for biodiversity achievements

Last Friday, as part of the garden show in Eppingen, the first golf clubs were honored for their successful participation in the “Golf course habitat – we promote biodiversity” project. The Princely Golf Resort Bad Waldsee has created a very beautiful symbiosis and natural oasis with its beautifully flowering meadows, its nature trail and the interaction of bees and flowers and has now been awarded for this work. 63 of 90 golf clubs are currently involved in the joint project of the Baden-Württemberg Golf Association, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment and the German Golf Association. When it comes to biodiversity in the country, golf courses are not part of the problem, but part of the solution. So said the State Secretary of the Environment Ministry Dr. Andre Baumann at the award ceremony in Eppingen.
