Waldseer Castle is located in the middle of a watercourse near the town center of Bad Waldsee. A path through the garden leads to the castle courtyard via a stone arched bridge.

The spacious entrance hall is accessed through a large portal. A majestically rising staircase leads to the Piano Nobile, the main floor of the palace, which used to be the living quarters of the royal family. The ballroom is located in the center of the room sequence and is lavishly decorated with motifs by the Dutch painter Adriaen Brouwer.
