The first chapel was built in 1606 under Steward Heinrich as the house chapel of the Hopfenweiler estate and was richly furnished.
History
The Waldsee Golf Resort is located on the site of a former farm, whose historic barn building was integrated into the newly created group of buildings. There is a successful synthesis of old and new around a central courtyard.
The focus is on the relationship between the hotel complex and the rooms and the surrounding nature. Large glass surfaces, transparent visual axes and effective building sections take away any heaviness from the building. The old barn was gutted, the barn doors were generously glazed and the mighty beam structure was preserved.Construction period: 1996 - 1998Architect: Wolfram WöhrArchitecture Prize (1st place): Award for “Exemplary Building, 1999 in the Ravensburg district.
